Luke Rhodes
Dear Snappers,
For those of you who follow us on twitter (hopefully all of you), we just completed our first annual Snapper March Madness bracket. From 32 teams down to our winner, Mr. Luke Rhodes of the Indianapolis Colts. The people have spoken, and it is clear that everyone has a lot of well-earned respect and admiration for Luke. I loved everything about the tournament and the hype that was given to it. This week we are going to learn a little bit more about our tournament winner.

College
Luke Rhodes is a DUDE. This guy tore up the field in college at William & Mary. A four-time all-conference selection at linebacker and left William & Mary racking up 341 tackles. He was a two-time team captain and a clear leader on the field and in the weight room. An FCS guy that has taken his talents, added the long snapping, and created a promising career for himself in the NFL.
Luke doesn't mess around when it comes to the weights. Check out the strength vlogs and other great resources from Special Teams U.

NFL
Luke Rhodes was given an opportunity with Tampa Bay in 2016, but didn't make it past the last roster cuts. He could've given up his dream right there, but instead he continued to chase his dream and signed with the Colts a month after he was cut from the Bucs. It wasn't until the 2017 season that he became the Colts starting long snapper. He hasn't missed a beat since and racked up 4 tackles last in 2018. Luke just signed his exclusive right tender, so hopefully we will be seeing a lot more of him in 2019!
Influence on the long snapping community
Through his work with Special Teams U, he has become one of the best in the league and an obvious fan favorite! Luke continues to work with Special Teams U to polish his long snapping year round. He also has a collaboration project with Special Teams U to make a vlog all about long snapping strength training. He is doing a lot for young snappers and those just starting out!

Also, congratulations to Luke and Hannah on recently getting married! The best of luck to both of them!
