Sawyer Schick

My name is Sawyer Schick and I am the long snapper for the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. I also play quarterback and am an accounting major scheduled for graduation in December. I'm originally from Racine, WI, a city that is 30 miles south of downtown Milwaukee right on Lake Michigan. I originally started snapping my sophomore year of high school to fill a glaring weakness for our varsity roster. After being rated a 4-star snapper (ranked #24 in my class) by Kohls Kicking before my senior year of high school, I attended the University of Sioux Falls for one year. After my freshman year, I transferred to University of Wisconsin - La Crosse to be at a larger institution. Playing in the WIAC conference - indisputably the best conference in all of division 3 football - makes every game feel like a playoff game, and every snap that much more critical. Long snapping has taken me places and given me opportunities that I am so thankful for, and I look forward to helping other young long snappers develop their skills.
